Is it bad that I’m thinking of an adults only cruise line AND drinking on a day when I’m knee deep in the planning for an upcoming mother/son cruise with my 9 year-old? Don’t judge. At least Virgin Voyages understands! And if you too, for whatever perfectly understandable reason, have adult beverages on the mind today, you might enjoy viewing these 2022 Virgin Voyages bar and drink menus from a recent sailing onboard the Scarlet Lady.
You may also want to raise a glass (if you’re looking for an excuse to drink that wouldn’t offend your boss or spawn) to Virgin’s newest ship, the Valiant Lady! I’ve been following her launch closely and enjoying all the photos and videos posted by my fellow cruise bloggers and vloggers. She’s a beauty and I can’t wait to sail on her! I’m also eager to see the Resilient Lady debut in August!
In any case, before we get to the menus, here are a few commonly asked questions regarding beverages on Virgin cruises:
Yes! Soda and carbonated beverages, sparkling and filtered water, juice, a selection of teas, and drip coffee is included in your cruise fare. This sets Virgin apart from most other non-luxury lines.
Virgin Voyages does not currently offer drink packages on the Scarlet Lady or the Valiant Lady, so you’ll be paying for premium drinks à la carte. However, Virgin offers something called “Bar Tab” where you can add funds to your account prior to sailing to be used on alcohol and other premium beverages and is currently running a great promotion…
If you pre-purchase $300 worth of bar credit to be used on premium beverages (any beverage for which there is an extra charge), Virgin will throw in an extra $50. So spend $300 and get $350 toward drinks that can be enjoyed by anyone in your cabin anywhere on the ship or at the Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini. Note that the credit is non-refundable, so be sure to spend it all!
Sailors (guests) may bring two (750ml) bottles of wine onboard per cabin in your carry-on luggage. No other alcohol is permitted to be carried on.
Yes, but not in single-use plastic containers. Stick to cans or boxes.
Now, onto why you’re probably here, the porn! Drink menu porn that is!
You’ll note that there are also a few, uh hum, non-beverage items available to purchase in your cabin. The way I see it, partake of enough drinks and I can save myself $60: zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
And with that…
Class Dismissed.
