This year I’m booked on Holland America’s ms Zuiderdam for a 10-night Sea of Cortez cruise over Christmas, my son’s 9 year-old birthday, AND New Years. I’m looking forward to a beautifully decorated ship. To special holiday entertainment. To a special birthday song and cake in the MDR. And to not having to buy presents for anyone: “the cruise is your gift, kid!” But most of all, I’m looking forward to Christmas dinner. And that I don’t have to cook it! Or clean up after it! So I was excited for the opportunity to preview the special Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve dinner menus available in the main dining rooms onboard Holland America ships this year.
