Excitement was high when Carnival announced they’d be rolling out brand new main dining room (MDR) dinner menus in early 2026. Well most ships now have the new menus!
To see the rollout schedule by ship, go here: CARNIVAL’S NEW MENU ROLLOUT SCHEDULE BY SHIP.
Here are the new menus for an 8-night cruise (at the bottom of the post, you’ll see links to the menus for 3-night, 4-night, 5-night, 6-night, and 7-night itineraries). You’ll notice many old favorites as well as a new section called “Carnival Crew Favorite” featuring global flavors from the home countries of crew members. I’ll be updating this post as I receive more clarity around the order of the menus for each itinerary (this is the order for the 8-night cruises) and the complete roll out schedule across the rest of the fleet, so keep checking back. But for now, feast your eyes on…

I always buy travel insurance to cover my cruises, but I never purchase it through Carnival. It costs more and usually covers less than policies you purchase on your own. I go through sites like travelinsurance.com* to compare plans and prices and get the best deal for the coverage I want. It’s a simple process – just enter your travel dates, total travel costs (airfare, cruise fare, hotel, etc), and a few bits of information about yourself and see quotes and read reviews. Spend less on insurance and spend more on excursions, special onboard cruise experiences and…future cruises!
