Frequently Asked Questions on Specialty Dining Price Increases on Holland America

Q: Will Holland America honor current pricing for specialty restaurant reservations made prior to September 1st?
A: Yes

Q: Why is Holland America raising prices?
A: The official word from Holland America is: “We regularly evaluate our product offerings, service experience, costs, and efficiency. To remain competitive in what we offer and continue to provide a premium product, we have adjusted restaurant cover prices which are aligned with industry competitor pricing and still offer an excellent value.”

Q: Are specialty dining restaurants worth it on Holland America?
A: Some think so, some don’t. But keep in mind that the cost you’re paying to dine at these specialty restaurants is on top of what you’ve already paid (via your cruise fare) for the “included” meal you won’t be eating.
