Carnival’s Thanksgiving Menu 2022

I’ve had several requests for Carnival’s special Thanksgiving menu for 2022. Here it is:

Appetizers

DUCK PASTRAMI*
Pickled carrot, fennel, greens, smoked green peppers, blackberry vinaigrette, house-made dressing, shaved parmesan

ZUCCHINI & ONION FOCACCIA
Smoked pea hummus, stracciatella, roasted tomato, greens

SHRIMP COCKTAIL
Traditional cocktail sauce

ROASTED CAULIFLOWER AND GRUYERE SOUP
Double cream, thyme, and garlic

SEAFOOD GUMBO
Creole style with smoked sausages.

BRAISED PORK BELLY
Chili mole, chorizo, crackers, fresh cheese, lime

PEPPERED CHICKEN WINGS
Balsamic, pomegranate glaze, roasted pepper and walnut sauce, garlic aiolo

CAESAR SALAD
Traditional preparation

MARINATED HEIRLOOM TOMATOES
Onions, basil, balsamic, pepper oil, brown sugar

ROASTED NECTARINE & FIELD GREENS
Toasted walnuts, apple cider vinaigrette

Main Courses

SLOW-ROASTED TURKEY
Cornbread dressing, bourbon honey yaks, gravy, cranberry jelly

N’AWLINS BBQ SHRIMP
Pimento cheese grits, fried okra, pumpkin & tomato etouffee

BUTTERMILK BAKED FISH
Hot honey and corn crust, white beans, roasted radish

PAN-FRIED STRIP STEAK*
Coffee rub, roasted vegetables, creamy pepper sauce

SWEET TEA BRINED PORT CHOP
Braised southern greens, stewed potato, mustard cream

Vegetarian Main Course

RICOTTA RAVIOLI
Parmesan brodo, brown butter roasted mushrooms, calabrian chili salsa

Vegan Main Course

NIZAMI PANEER & MALAI SAAG
Daal makhani, malabar ghee pilaf, accompaniments

Dessert

PUMPKIN PIE
Cinnamon roasted, nutty butter

CLASSIC PECAN PIE
Delicious pie crust, plenty of pecan, caramel ice cream

CHOCOLATE MELTING CAKE
Vanilla Ice Cream

HOLIDAY TRIFLE
Ginger biscotti, pumpkin mascarpone cream, mulled plum lower calorie, no added sugar
