Carnival is NOT Switching to Half Caff Coffee or Charging for Restrooms

It seems I accidentally created quite the outraged stir all over the internet yesterday with a satirical article I posted in response to recent cuts announced by Carnival. You can read the post here:

Many, many, MANY people (having not fully read the article) believed that Carnival was both switching to half caff coffee and charging for public restrooms. There are two lessons for all of us here and both of them make me a bit nostalgic for my prior life as a college professor (of course being a Professor of Cruising is MUCH better).

First, fully read any article you plan to comment on, cite, or share.

And second, TRIANGULATE YOUR SOURCES! If you can’t find three credible sources (you should wonder about anyone who considers me a credible source of news) that say the same thing, it’s not reliable information.

In conclusion, let me be 1000% clear: Carnival is NOT switching to half caff coffee or charging for restrooms. However, I did hear through some random person on the internet that the line will soon be going dry to reduce security costs.

And with that (and a sincere apology for any panic I may have caused to my coffee drinker and fellow small-bladdered cruisers)…
