Carnival Now Offers Nightly Gluten Free Dinner Menus In The Main Dining Room

Big news for gluten free cruisers! Carnival now has a separate, fully gluten free dinner menu available each evening in the main dining room. It’s different every night and offers several appetizer, entree (a few rotating and a few “every day”), and dessert choices. Prior to the introduction of these new fleet-wide menus, gluten free cruises would place a special order each night with their wait staff for the following evening. Items could be customized to their liking and varied greatly depending on the particular chef preparing them. These new menus appear to be an effort by Carnival to streamline menu offerings while accommodating common dietary restrictions. In 2023, Carnival also introduced special vegan menus.

Where do I find the gluten free menus?

Currently the gluten free menus are not available on the app or by scanning the QR code placed at each main dining room table. Instead, cruisers will need to request the menus from their wait staff each evening.

Here are a few sample menus (the first is from night 2, elegant night, and the second is from night 4):

And with that…

Class Dismissed!

I ALWAYS buy travel insurance (especially during these uncertain times) to cover my cruises, but I NEVER purchase it through Carnival. It costs more and usually covers less than policies you purchase on your own. I go through sites like travelinsurance.com* to compare plans and prices and get the best deal for the coverage I want. It’s a simple process – just enter you travel dates and total travel cost and answer a few basic questions. See and compare plans and save! Spend less on insurance and spend more on excursions, special onboard cruise experiences and…future cruises!
