A few weeks ago I posted the schedule for when each Carnival ship will be decorated for Christmas. Continuing our countdown to holiday cruise season, here are the special onboard activities that will be happening on all Carnival ships through the month of December. Specific days, times, and locations (unless already noted on the schedule below) will be available on your daily Fun Times or via the HUB app once you board.
This will be held on embarkation day evening and will feature Christmas music as the Cruise Director hosts the beginning of the holiday season cruise with the lighting of the tree.
This will be a special event in the atrium that will herald the arrival of Santa. Some ships will also have an additional surprise in the atrium as well.
A special show featuring the Playlist cast of singers and dancers, the Fun Squad, and a special appearance by…………..The Grinch.
Bring the ugliest Christmas sweater you can find and you could be crowned the winner.
I’m currently trying to decide between T-Rex*, Sequin Showstopper*, or Stripper Reindeer*.
Or maybe I should go with something classier like these*:
Or maybe I want to save money and go for a two-for-one deal like this*:
Vote for your favorite in the comments and tune into my Instagram page on Christmas to see which one I chose!
A special performance featuring the Cruise Director and special guests including the string trios.
A Christmas event for the families featuring the Fun Squad, Cruise Director and with milk and cookies for all.
25th December – 2nd January. The lighting of the Menorah in the atrium with Traditional Jewish food served after.
Christmas Carol Music
Holiday Bingo
Christmas Dance Class
I ALWAYS buy travel insurance to cover my cruises, but I NEVER purchase it through Carnival. It costs more and usually covers less than policies you purchase on your own. I go through sites like travelinsurance.com* to compare plans and prices and get the best deal for the coverage I want. Simply enter your travel dates and total trip cost (flights, hotel, and cruise fare) and answer a few basic questions and you can see all available plans. Compare the prices to what your cruise line is offering to see how much you’ll save. Spend less on insurance and spend more on excursions, special onboard cruise experiences and…future cruises!
Homework (10 points): Which of these activities are you most looking forward to? Share to the comments!
