Princess understands one thing no other cruise line does: When you’re on vacation you should NOT be required to operate your legs to get some chocolate cake, chips and guac, and a cosmo. Enter OceanNow, Princess’s innovative food delivery service. Order any available items on the app and have them delivered for free (we always like to tip, but it’s not required) to almost anywhere on the ship. Crew will use your OceanMedallion to track your precise location and will identify you using the photo attached to your account.
Some items have an additional charge (as noted on the menus below), but many are complimentary. And if you have a beverage package (Plus or Premier), you CAN use it to order drinks through OceanNow.
We tested out OceanNow numerous times on our recent cruise onboard the Discovery Princess and it worked great! We had items delivered to our cabin, the Concierge Lounge, and the main Lido pool area. And one time we were at a packed magic show in “Princess Live” and a kid sitting on the floor in front of us had a hot dog and chips delivered to himself. Honestly, I thought it was part of the show. Like, this hot dog just magically appeared! LOL!
Anyway, if you’re booked on an upcoming Princess cruise, be sure to give OceanNow a try. Here are the complete menus with prices (these may vary a bit depending on your ship, but this should give you a good idea of what to expect).
THESE PRICES ARE NOW OUTDATED, for current pricing go HERE.
There are also a number of gifts, spa items, medallion accessories, photography products, and stateroom amenities available to order through OceanNow. Availability will vary depending on your ship and itinerary, so check once onboard.
And with that…
Class Dismissed.
