Princess Cruise Line’s OceanNow Food And Beverage Delivery Menu 2022
My Experience with OceanNow, Princess’s Food and Beverage Delivery Service
I felt like David battling Goliath trying to get the MedallionClass App to function long enough to provide you with the latest OceanNow menus, only instead of dodging javelin throws, I spent hours staring at this:
And this:
And this:
Between the app crashing and shutting down completely.
You can consider this my review of the MedallionClass App too: It’s awesome in theory, but in practice it blows harder than a humpback summering off the coast of Mexico.
I’m not going to discourage you from calling me a hero, but in the spirit of full disclosure, I was sitting here while doing it:
And I know about the humpback because I just saw one.
In any case, both complimentary and paid items from the OceanNow menu can be ordered through the MedallionClass App and delivered to you for free (don’t forget to tip though!) almost anywhere on the ship. Except to a public restroom, as I discovered (what, after six days of cruise food I figured a cup of joe on the john might speed things along). The kind crew member making my delivery asked me to please meet him outside the door so I wouldn’t be embarrassed by the smell and so he wouldn’t get fired.
You can also order all these items as room service through the television in your cabin (which is mostly what I did).
Here’s a photos of some of the items I ordered:
Yes, that’s a cheese quesadilla, some chips and guac, and three desserts, because I’m 12. Orders took around 30 minutes to be delivered.
So without further commentary, below you’ll find all the OceanNow food and beverage delivery menus updated for 2022. Let me apologize in advance for the weird formatting and the menu items veering from alphabetical at times. Be sure to scroll all the way through the list before you despair that your favorite cocktail isn’t offered. Because unless your favorite cocktail is a Shirley Temple (told you, I’m 12), it’s probably on the menu.

Here are all the OceanNow food menus updated for 2022 with prices indicated.
The Key Lime Pie Verrine got cut off, but it’s complimentary. And I know I promised no further commentary, but why is there alcohol in the chili? I don’t know, but if you were too cheap to order the beverage package…just saying. Be sure to pack some Tums and Poo-Pourri though.

You can also order items to be delivered from the onboard specialty restaurants. He are the items offered from Crown Grill:

*All these are from a Mexican Riviera itinerary on the Majestic Princess. There may be some slight variations (mostly there may be some beers and cocktails specific to certain locations) to the menus depending on your specific ship and itinerary, but these will be very, very close.

Not surprised to read of glitches…but very surprised to read they occurred on board. App seems to work very well when we’re on the ship. Either way it’s what they call first world problems and great to have! Thx for the post.
Thank you! WE are looking forward to boarding the Enchanted in about a month and trying some of the menu choices.
How exciting! Enjoy!!!
Thank you for the post, I’m looking forward to sailing on the Grand March 10th. Sounds and looks like you are having a wonderful time. Your post has given me some ideas as to what drinks I’d love to try.
Have a wonderful cruise on the Grand – she’s a great ship! And be sure to report back with your favorite drinks!
I will absolutely report back with my favourite drinks (thank goodness I have the drink package).
Thank you for the detailed information, it literally answered all my questions.
I’ve been following along with your cruise, looks like you had a spectacular time.
I did! One of my best cruises ever. I hope yours is just as great!
With the drink package what price drinks are you allowed to get
The drink package includes cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, fountain soda, specialty coffees, bottled water, teas and other individual beverages priced up to $12. For beverages priced over $12, you will pay the difference (so if a cocktails is priced at $15, you’ll pay $3). Hope that helps!
So we are on the Mexican riviera cruise in two weeks and we are first time to Princess (we’ve sailed Norwegian, Oceania and Viking). If we have the ‘plus’ drink package, do we still pay for delivered drinks per these menus? Or do they know you have the package and don’t charge you?
I also think it’s odd to charge for cheese or hummus plate (low carb options) but not other things. Oh well, life has bigger problems I suppose!
Thanks for the post- very helpful
If you have Princess Plus, drinks delivered to your cabin will be covered under your package according to the same rules as those ordered at a bar (you’d pay the difference on anything priced over $12, etc). Enjoy!!!
How do you get Princess Plus and how much does it cost?
You’ll need to purchase it either directly through Princess or through your travel agent. The cost will depend on your particular itinerary. Give Princess or your travel agent a call and they can walk you through the cost for your sailing and you can decide if it makes sense for you (it depends on how much you plan on drinking, if you use the internet, etc). Happy cruising!
thank you for the information we have 4 people in our mini balcony. Does each one have to purchase the Princess Plus or can just one person purchase one princess plus only.
According to Princess, “When this fare is selected, it will automatically be defaulted to all guests in the stateroom. The third and fourth guests can opt out of this package by calling Princess or their travel advisor. For guests under the legal drinking age, the Premier Coffee & Soda Package will be applied before sailing.” So at least the first two adult guests in your stateroom will have to purchase the plan. Hope that helps!
Hi there, Please let me know about your cruise, the enytre experience ,, i have never been in Princess and I’m booking the Mexican Riviera for April 1st. Thanks in advance, Claudia
Hi there, Please let me know about your cruise, the whole experience , I have never been in Princess and I’m booking the Mexican Riviera for April 1st. Thanks in advance, Claudia
I’m working on a full review…check back soon!
my medallion didnt work at all on the enchantment back in december so i had to order everything on my room tv and the menu was very limited. i’m assuming i wont have access to medallion again for both my alaska and med cruises so this is my question – how can i order all of these items if they are not listed on the tv where you must choose and select and order via remote? it was very hard trying to get anyone on the phone if that is your answer.
Hi Michelle,
What a huge disappointment! Even though the app didn’t work very well for me, the TV on the Majestic had the full menu available to order from. I did it multiple times and it worked well for me. Hopefully you’ll have better luck on your next two cruises!
i hope so. thank you
Thanks for all the detailed info. Heading to Barcelona on Regal and looks like I’ll have waaaay too many drink choices!
That sounds like an amazing cruise – enjoy it (and ALL the drinks)!
Certainly looks like more choices than we experienced on Caribbean Princess in mid March, noticeably more pizza and mocktail options.
We also had trouble with the app, though ironically food ordering was one of the things that worked better than some other things (locating people was very spotty for our group and the daily event schedule format is so horrible it may as well not exist).
One issue we had with the food service was some late night orders never showing up, I’m not sure if this was because the app didn’t successfully place the order or what the problem was. None of those included any extra charges which makes it harder to find where the issue occurred but less frustrating than paying for something we didn’t receive.
Also, was not able to get delivery to the theater, but anytime you are somewhere they can’t deliver the app informs you prior to placing an order.
