The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Today, as her Godmother, I’ll be christening the new Norwegian Prima. Okay, it’s actually Katy Perry doing it, but it could have been me had I not been kindly “dismissed” from private singing lessons as a tween with a diagnosis of hopelessly tone-deaf, thus shattering my dream of becoming the next Whitney (true story). That doesn’t stop me from belting out my best “I Will Always Love You” at cruise ship karaoke though (you’ve been warned).
In any case, you might be wondering what those lucky enough to be sailing the Prima’s maiden voyage from Reykjavik to Amsterdam are dining on right now. And many of us have been eagerly awaiting the dinner menu on the Prima class ships, because it’s very different from the prior NCL menus. Notice I said, “menu,” singular. That’s right, instead of a new menu each night, there’s one dinner menu (which is the same at both of the main dining rooms, Hudsons and The Commodore Room) for the entire length of the sailing. NCL is trying this out on the Prima class ships and may extend it fleet wide if it’s popular. Let me know what you think of it in the comments!
So without further commentary or high-pitched screeching that sounds just like Whitney in my weird tone-challenged brain, here are the dining menus on the new Norwegian Prima!
This same menu is available at both main dining rooms on the Prima: Hudsons and The Commodore Room.
The Local is a complimentary pub-style restaurant on the Prima.
Cagney’s is the steakhouse on the Norwegian Prima.
Hasuki is the Japanese hibachi restaurant (nearly identical to Teppanyaki on other NCL ships) on the Prima.
Le Bistro is the French restaurant on the Prima.
Los Lobos is the Mexican restaurant on the Prima.
Nama is the sushi and sashimi restaurant on the Prima.

Palomar is NCL’s first-ever Mediterranean restaurant!
