Longtime Carnival cruisers have been pleading for new dinner menus for years, tiring of the same menu rotation on every sailing. And while some items have been removed and a few added over the past few years, their pleas have largely been ignored as the line focuses on recovering financially from the pandemic and unveiling new ships.
However, Carnival passengers currently aboard the line’s newest vessel, the Celebration, for her transatlantic crossing, received a welcome and delicious surprise when they were treated to several new dinner menus in the main dining room. Here are a few of the new menus:
Note that the steakhouse selections (for an upcharge of $23), coffee and tea selections, and cocktails are the same every night, so I have only included them with the first menu.
I’ve had dozens of people contact me over the past few days asking if the new menus will be rolling out flee-wide. I reached out to my contact at Carnival who told me that these menus are currently only available on the transatlantic sailing and will not be offered on regular itineraries (including those on the Celebration). However, I was also told that the most popular items may eventually be offered fleet-wide.
The important takeaway here is that if you’d like to see any of these items more widely available, Carnival needs to hear from you! Be sure to fill out your post-cruise survey, post your feedback to online cruise forums, and pass along your thoughts to Carnival’s Brand Ambassador, John Heald, via his Facebook page.
And with that…
