NEW Carnival Menus, Updated May 2022!
Hot off the presses thanks to my contact at Carnival, these are the newest main dining room menus as of May 2022. They reflect promised price increases for upcharge items and certain beverages. They also have some special 50th anniversary classic menu items added. While I know many regular Carnival cruisers are tiring of mostly the same choices and were hoping for totally revamped menus, no word yet on when that might happen. For now, you just get to pay more! Personally, I’m singing the inflation blues on land (gas in my downtown Seattle neighborhood is currently $5.69), but remain so thankful cruising is back and will never take it for granted again, even if it’s not always perfect.
So with that, here are the recently updated breakfast, Seaday Brunch, and dinner menus. These may not be rolled out fleet-wide yet, but should be very soon.

Looks good. Do you have a kids menu?
Oh yes I order from it frequently, sometimes you want comfort food mac and cheese and banana splits
No more masala dosa. I’m so so sad.
Same! I love Indian food for breakfast!
Thank you for leaving frog leggs, escargot, and shrimp. Will they have baked potatoes?
Where is day 8? We’re doing an 8 day- is it just a repeat, kinda like day 7 is?
I have the 8 day menus too – I’ll try to get those posted as soon as I can. The 7 day menus are included (although in a different order) and there is an additional menu for the 8th day, it isn’t just a repeat.
I’m going on a 10 day cruise.
Me too. Where can we find the 10 menues?
Thank you! This is an excellent addition for me ! Husband & adult daughter are total carnivores…I am not!
Ever get around to posting that day 8?
Here are the 8 day menus I have: https://profcruise.com/carnival-8-day-dinner-menus-updated/
They don’t include the most recent updates, but those updates are very minimal (and you can look on the 7 day menus to see them).
Does this apply to the 5 day as well?
Yes, but the order will be different for 5 day cruises. I’ll add the new 5 day menus with the correct order soon. In the meantime, you can see the old 5 day menus here (so you can see the order they go generally go in for the 5 day sailings – just scroll down until you see them): https://profcruise.com/complimentary-dining-venues-on-carnival/
I’d love to see the 8 day menu too! We’re sailing in a few weeks and are trying to figure out which nights to book specialty dining. Thanks!
Can anyone tell me what the * mean next to some foods? example, as in eggs, from the Grill… Grilled Salmon, etc.
It’s the standard public health warning about consuming raw or undercooked meat, fish, eggs, etc.
Consuming raw shellfish or undercooked foods (rare beef) may be harmful.
Du you think 3 and 4 days would be as listed for day 3, and day 4?
Hi Lynne,
You can see the order of the menus for 4 day cruises here (these are the non-updated menus, but they will show you which of the menus are used for the 4 night cruises): https://profcruise.com/carnival-4-day-dinner-menus/
I’ll see if I can track down the 3 day menus for you.
9 day cruise is it different.
On a 14 day cruise does the menu just repeat?
We went in May for a 5 day cruise and the food was so bad you couldn’t really eat it. Everything was freezing cold, cafeteria style food. It honestly looked like my high school lunchroom. (The fried mozzarella was in triangles and clearly had been microwaved, for example.) They are having a very hard time getting wait and culinary staff so just keep this in mind when you plan your trip. The poolside restaurants were amazing-great burgers and fries, great tacos and burritos. The hot sandwiches from the deli were fantastic. Just keep your expectations low when it comes to the dining rooms and lido buffets and you will do fine. Eating great burgers and tacos while sailing the ocean is pretty amazing even if the dining room food isn’t good. I’m hoping it will get better when they can secure more staff.
We have a 14 night cruise in January. Is the menu just this 7 day repeated?
Does anyone know how long the 50 year anniversary items are going to be offered on the menu?
Hello. Thanks for posting the menus. It’s my understanding that these are not the 5 day cruise menus. Do you know the difference? I’m hearing no lobster.
Do they have different menu items for people who suffer from allergies? I can’t eat any seafood most of the menu is seafood?
Hi Helen,
You’ll want to meet with the maitre’d on embarkation day (just stop by the main dining room after you board) and discuss your dietary restrictions with them. You will be assigned a special waiter who will go over menu options with you a day in advance and make sure you have something you like that fits with your dietary needs. If there’s nothing on the regular menu that will work for you, the chef will prepare you something that will. Enjoy your cruise!
Do you have the 14 day menu? We are going on the 14 day Panama Canal cruise and would love to know the menu and which nights are the formal nights.
I don’t, but I’ll see if I can get them from a contact at Carnival.
What about 6-day menus?
I’m leaving on a 6-day on Thursday. I’ll collect and post!
Here they are: https://profcruise.com/carnival-6-day-dinner-menus/
