Holland America released NEW bar menus for 2023. So, what’s changed?
The prices, for one! This is the line’s first fleet-wide price increase on beverages since 2019 and, while unwelcome, was to be expected in light of inflation (honestly, I’m surprised it’s taken this long). The line reports that the price of goods has gone up over 30% in the last year.
But it’s not all bad news, here are some positive additions to the new menus:
Wines:
Kendall Jackson Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
Decoy Cabernet by Duckhorn
Murphy Goode Merlot and Cabernet
Beers:
Stella Artois
Peroni
Coors Edge NA
150th Anniversary items:

Not every ship will have every bar, so double check before you start compiling your drink list. Those who make it to the end of these menus without giving into temptation and booking another Holland America cruise (like I did half way through reading them) will be rewarded with some photos of my favorite Holland America cocktails from my most recent cruise onboard the Noordam! And if you still don’t book a Holland America cruise after that, well, your willpower surpasses that of a stray dog who waits for scraps on the outside of a wide-open steakhouse door.
