Carnival’s Current Diamond Lunch Menu 1st quarter 2024 (Jan-April)

One of the most coveted loyalty perks available on Carnival is an invitation to lunch from the Captain, extended to diamond members of the VIFP Club (Carnival’s loyalty club). As a motivator for those of us who are taking a bit longer to accrue the necessary 200 points for this most exclusive of events because we can’t seem to remain faithful to a single cruise line, here is the menu currently being offered to those lucky enough to have achieved diamond status. I appreciate the small (but delicious sounding) number of selections, because I’d be less tempted to order my regular 3-5 desserts. Because, to be honest, as much as I love cruise food, I’d leave that chocolate hazelnut icebox pie without a single displaced crumb if I thought it might increase my chances for a second date with the Captain.

Anyway, I’ll leave you with the current menu (updated quarterly, so check back for future menus) while I go book myself on another Carnival cruise…

Thinly shaved, melon, torn mozzarella, berry vinaigrette

SHRIMP
Emeril’s New Orleans-style barbecue shrimp

CAESAR SALAD
Homemade dressing, croûton, parmesan

ENTRÉES
CIOPPINO
Fisherman’s stew, garlic bread

FILET MIGNON
Tender cut, petite carrot, roasted spinach mushroom, mashed potato, smoked shallot jus

RICOTTA RAVIOLI
Sun-dried tomato, truffle oil, aged parmesan, spinach, mushroom jerky

DESSERT
CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT ICEBOX PIE
Oreo crust, dulce de leche sauce

CANTALOUPE PANNA COTTA (Sugar Free)
